It's a computer program that writes replies by predicting helpful words, a bit like very clever predictive text. It's useful, but it isn't a person and it can be wrong.

2. Asking a good question
Say what you want, who it's for, the style and the length.
Write a short, friendly thank-you note to my neighbour who fed my cat while I was away. About 3 sentences.
Not quite right? Just say "shorter", "simpler words" or "more friendly".
3. Staying safe
Never share passwords, bank details or photos of ID with any AI or website. Be wary of urgent calls or messages asking for money, even if the voice sounds like family. Hang up and call them back on a number you know. Forward scam texts to 7726.
4. Everyday things to try
Understand a confusing letter (remove names and account numbers first), write an email, plan a day out, get recipe ideas, or practise a language.
